Apparently I'm the first Goodreader to write a review for this book. It's an honor, because this book can inspire future engineers and architects... and other STEM professionals.

There's so much to learn here about ways that physical objects can be made. The breezy text, in large type, is enlivened by excellent photographs. Just my style when checking out a picture book for early readers.

For example, let's talk PARADE BALLOONS.

On Page 12 we learn how balloons are made for a big Thanksgiving Day Parade. Including this:

The balloons are BIG! It's a big job to make them, too.

An artist draws the character. Another artist makes a MODEL.

What size will the real balloon be? A computer scientist figures it out.

FIVE STARS for all the fun and practical education!
