great story of the horrors of war. .lives lost before they had lived. . love and the heartaches and destruction and stupidly of war. .

Such an emotional rollercoaster - a must read for every Australian. Helps you appreciate what previous generations coped with during WW1 and the aftermath of that ie. returning to a 'normal' life.
