Although my husband and I didn't get to explore around on our honeymoon as much as we wanted to, because we didn't rent a car, this was a good book to have read and I'm glad I did the research about my trip. We found a few small places around us that we otherwise wouldn't have known about. It also gives you background about the culture, safety issues, etc. I'm glad I took the time to read this book before our trip. Would definitely turn to this series for a future trip to another location.
Concise and pocketable but complete and up-to-date — this guide got checkies on the critical features needed in a book destined to be squished into an overflowing backpack. As an added bonus which set it apart from the many other (sometimes better-known) guides I browsed before buying this one, Mallan's witty, conversational writing made this title fun as well as useful.
