The storyline follows Johnny Jones, a 10-year old boy that lost his childhood identity after moving with his family to another state. The shock of giving up friends and leaving his beloved dog behind left him all alone and afraid.
The struggle to overcome the fear of the unknown, the rejection from kids at his new school and the expectations of teachers and parents is central to the narrative. However the story is also about how God did not give up on Johnny and taught him to soar like an eagle, redeeming the time.
Plus there is also a bonus gallery of Christian poems written by the author who is an accomplished Christian poet.
