Very in depth coverage of how to dowse, lists and describes numerous ways. It also contains the things you might be dowsing for. Map dowsing with a pendulum included. Good information, but the book begins to sound the same after a while.
I didn’t know much about dowsing or the potential uses prior to reading this book. I’m interested in trying them and seeing if I can dowse. I found the history of dowsing particularly interesting.
It was a fantastic read! I'd liken his writing style to that of John Beckett's. Information, techniques, his experiences as well as including the opinions and perspectives of others. I was most fond of the medical and self improvement sections.
While promising to deal with the dowsing of gold, treasure, oil and artifacts as well as water, the emphasis is clearly on water, and I could see no mention of gold. I was hoping for at least a couple of hilariously naive quotes to use, but nothing was relevant.
Pretty good little book about dowsing for objects, water, gold and oil. I would like to have seen more detailed information, more examples, etc. Dowsing is not that easy, esp. this type, which takes a lot of practice.
