An Essence bestseller from the author of Sins, Secrets & Success. Candice, Amber, and Toi are three young black women who have risen above life on the streets. Successful entrepreneurs, they are at the top of their game, but they will soon find that money does not always equal happiness.
I really enjoyed this book. Candice, Amber & Toi are hilarious and I thought the plot was good. The ending was kind of sad but overall a good book. I wish she'd followed up with "The Games We Play," sequel to the book.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO BLACK WOMEN ALL OF A SUDDEN WE LIKE BOOKS THAT HAVE MEN SLEEPING WITH EACH OTHER WE HAVE LOST OUR MINDS, HARD TO FIND A BOOK WITH JUST A MAN AND A WOMAN HAVING SEX, I DON'T LIKE THIS BOOK .
Sins & Secrets this book brings to your knowledge that where you from doesn't determine where you're going. Also, where you go does have it's own troubles that soon will become someone's problems. Happens is not given by money or change of lifestyle but happens is given within something way deep. Meanwhile, This book shows you not to waste your life on a person who isn't willing to accept your change or change with you. Letting you to move on when you feel it instead of when the other person feel it because then it might be to late like the man trying to get a nut with some other woman while his girlfriend watching in her home so she shoot his ass while he was still was inside that other girl. Food for thought never take a person for granted because they might show you what they're made of.
