As with the other 3 books the story had a few very steamy scenes, but what I didn't like about this book was that it seemed to have too many stories going on at the same time. There wasn't sufficient story developement with a few of them. The book just didn't seem to flow as well as the others. The antagonist seemed to take too long to strike, so I found myself constantly in a state of anxiety. When something finally did happen, it wasn't as exciting as it should of been. I felt like I was being teased into a frenzy only to find that there wasn't a payoff. I found that I was having to force myself to complete it. I assume that there will be a book 5, and I will probably read it. I do like the characters of the story and ache to find out if Alexa and the babies are alright. I just hope that the new story will tie up some loose ends. It doesn't have to have a finality to the series, but there were at least 5 different story lines introduced, it would of been nice to at least have one possible happily ever after. This is why we read the fantasies in the first place.

Absolutely amazing series that I would definitely recommend!!!

I had the opportunity to receive the first book as a free offer (thanks Ruth) which pulled me into reading the rest of the series to date. I cannot wait til the next in this series is available - hopefully will not be in the not too distant future.

I really enjoy Ruth's writing style. The books are well written and the story-line is exciting and sucks you in looking for more.

All the main characters are underground. Torque,Tara and Pitch get a little bit of their time with their mates in dream land. At the end of the story, All were getting ready to get of their planet and going to two different places.

But the author has left the series hanging. I hope she will finish the series, because I really like it and I want the rest of the stories finished.

I must have had a bad reading day today because everything I read seemed like crap to me. They story just seemed to jump all over the place and never resolve any of the plot lines. I did like seeing past characters but everyone seemed ineffective in this one. I was under the impression that this was the last in the series and things weren't resolved so I was left unsatisfied. Turns out there is another book in the series but I honestly have no interest in reading further.
