I really loved this series but I think that it should have focused more on Choi Ida as Yodah. I was hooked on this series in the beginning because I thought it was cool how Ida "became" Yodah and all of a sudden she could be herself and was treated equally, it was a the only way for her to escape her humiliating day-to-day life. But, at the same time, this series made me SO frustrated. I have NEVER hated a fictional character more than I hated Mimi in this series. It made me burn with rage when ever Choi Ida was treated like crap and didn't do anything about it. Finally, at the end when Ida lets down her hair and stands up for herself I felt so relived! In the end, Mimi got what she deserved, and I don't show one shred of sympathy for her!
It was an enjoyable read, but fell just below my benchmark for 3 stars is say solid 2.5.
What this story is lacking in quality, it makes up in entertainment value. Its very soap opera-ish. The continous fluctuations in people dating one another, gossip, backstabbing, all out brawls all included this made it difficult to put down. Similar feeling to when you see an accident and you slow down to to watch as your passing by.
