Spooky Boys #2

Possess Me! - I Want You To

Rate this book
The Spooky Boys Series invites you to visit a world where things that go bump in the night aren't just fantasy. These standalone novels feature monsters that are spicy, fun, and sometimes furry.

Luca
What was I thinking, trading my last painting for a "lucky" necklace? Instead of good fortune, the cursed trinket saddled me with a stocky, heavily tattooed ghost named Prudence. Determined to make the most of things, I struck a bargain: I'd help him with his problem if he'd help me with mine. En route to Oregon to help him shed his spectral existence, my ghostly companion becomes something more, and causes me to make a few unexpected discoveries about myself. Now I'm craving a connection that should send me running for the hills, and time is against me. For someone already dead, Prudence sure seems set on dying - can I convince him there's another way before it's too late?

Prudence
After gaining my freedom, I wanted two things: sex and death. The sweet, gullible Luca was my golden ticket to both. He became mine the moment he took my cursed talisman. Optimistic to a fault, and perpetually eating his feelings, the gangly, pink-haired artist made the perfect pawn. But using him meant I couldn't like him, and also meant that neither one of us was getting a happy ending. Emotions were never my strong suit, even before I died, but I found myself actually wanting to understand my new ally in all his awkward charm. Those sociopathic tendencies I'd always held so dear? Well, they're starting to feel a lot more like fierce protectiveness towards Luca, who may be less of a keeper and more of a keeper.

What happens when a scowling, spectral bad boy gets accidentally bartered to a chatty, pink-haired artist? A doomed road trip simmering with more than either of them were prepared for.

Possess Me! Is a standalone high heat ghost MM romance with adventure, a HEA, and no cliffhangers. It features a relationship between a prickly ghost and a chatty, pink-haired artist. Neither of them have ever had a connection like the one they share before. Together they’re haunting, possessive, playful, and sweet. If you like spooky stories with mystery, suspense, murder, desperately in love sad boys, and characters that make you laugh your head off, read on!

~2.5~

I've only ever read Fae Quin's Christmas Daddies series, which I positively adored, so I wanted to give her spooky stuff a go too.

For sure this book is a unique take on ghost stories. Both characters, Luca and Prudence, are endearing.

Luca is a pink-haired contradiction with a huge heart. Prudence is ... well, he's almost-dead, but that's the least interesting thing about him. Prue is possessive and controlling, and just what Luca needs.

Quin's writing style is immersive. I read this book in one sitting, and it didn't take long at all.

But I was left with so many damn questions. SO MANY. Both MCs have secrets they keep until the end, but even then we get a half-assed vague reveal.

None of this was explained. None of it made a lick of sense.

There's "open to interpretation" and then there's "I really didn't think this through."

Also, the sex kink (control, humiliation, boot licking, choking) was decidedly not my thing. IMO, the author should have spent far more time on the plot and far less on repetitive sex scenes. But that's just me.

Lots of good, hot, kinky sex and nice relationship development but I found the overarching plot a bit lacking and anticlimactic.

I did like the grumpy/sunshine vibes, especially when it turned out that sunshine was actually a sadboi putting up a rainbow facade. The little moments shared over food were very endearing, as was the time spent with Luca's family.

I'm a bit annoyed that the conflict between Luca and Violet was only mentioned again casually at the end as having taken some time to resolve. I wanted to see that happen, especially because Luca didn't get a chance to confront her at the time.

I never quite understood how everything worked with the ghost situation, but perhaps that's because I finished this somewhat halfheartedly after having shelved it for 2 months halfway through. I didn't put it down because I disliked it, but just because I felt like nothing much was happening.

I think this would have been a lot more enjoyable at 1/2, maybe 2/3 the length.

Still debating if I should give this a 3.75⭐️ or 4⭐️ I can’t decide lol

😤 LITTLE RANT (spoilers):

Kinda mad we didn’t get to see their second penetrative scene 🥹 After waiting for like 60/70% for the back door to be used, I felt robbed 🤣

There are a few questions that I would’ve loved answers for, but we didn’t get them. How did Hunter steal Luca’s money? How was Pru framed for murder? Why did the sisters have a change in heart? I’m still a little confused on these things.

And I’m still confused if the password was “love” why nothing happens when Luca says “I love you”?! Is it that Luca would need to know it’s the key, for it to work? Or would Pru need to say it back? Guess that would make sense, I don’t think he ever said “I love you” back 🤔 I’m so confused 🤔

Also there were a couple of instances where it was mentioned that Pru’s cøck or pre-cum was hot, when we know it’s not 🤣 that took me out of the scene a little in the moment.

Still kinda mad that on the cover Pru appears to be taller, when in reality he’s a cute short king 🤣

* Fyi about 🌶️ levels: I rate spice on a combination of quantity, quality, length, intensity and explicitness of the scenes. K!nks are listed separately and generally do not directly affect the steam level to keep it fair for non k!nky books.

First, I love that Fae Quinn isn't afraid of a lengthier page count.
Too often I find myself wanting more time with a book and it's characters and chasing that elusive and true satisfaction.

Well with almost 500 pages I can say that I am thoroughly satisfied with this book.

Pru and Luca are so easy to root for, both individually and together. They will snatch your attention at the very beginning and not let you focus on anything else until their story is through.
Deliciously kinky from the get-go, these two have so much chemistry it shines off the page.

I absolutely loved this book! I was really looking forward to Prudence's story when he was introduced in Bite Me, and I was not disappointed. Luca, who was just sunshine, even though he was down on his luck, and Prudence was prickly, broody, and just pure sex. Together, they were expolsive! They embark on a journey to help free Prudence from a curse, and during their adventure, they fall in love. They were the perfect compliment for once another, and both finally were able to be themselves and be loved for who they truly were. This book gave me all the feels. I laughed, I cried, I hated, and I loved, and really felt the emotions between Pruca. They ended up with such a special bond that just warmed my heart, and their sexy times were hot as hell! And the ending was everything, just perfect, left me with a smile on my face. Truly loving this entire series, and this addition was spectacular. I can't wait for the next Spooky Boys book!

I just finished the audiobook, and it was amazing! I loved this so much when reading it, I love it even more after listening to it. Liam Dicosimo and Alexander Cendese were absolute perfection!

Okay spoilers spoilers spoilers but I literally don't get what happened at the end of this book. Did luca free pru without knowing when he said I love you? And if so did pru still not know if doing so would kill Luca, cuz he like coaxed the i love you out of him. Other possibilities: the key doesn't work if Luca doesn't know it is the key. Which doesn't make sense given that lydia said she wanted to pick a word that couldn't be said by accident. Or had Luca freed pru without either of them knowing when he said love before pru even entered the prison, so pru knew it would be fine if he said it again??? This last one makes sense but like it is so unclear if that is what the author intended. Like seriously someone explain it to me because I'm just making shit up in my head trying to make it make sense.

Anyway, the best part of this book was the ghost mythos. I also liked Luca and prudence's tandem journeys of self-acceptance. On the negative side, the writing sometimes ticked me off and I feel like the Lydia storyline was not well-fleshed out.

3 stars, idk I'm still pretty baffled.

“Boo? You know. Since you’re a ghost.”
“Do. Not. Call. Me. That.”

4.5⭐️4🌶️

This is such a fun paranormal romance! I loved how Luca was pure sunshine - like even when things got tough he could still find a reason to smile.

“Your grandma died? Well hey, at least your hair looks great.”

And how that sunshine-y personality warmed the grumpiest ghost, Prudence.

“I hadn’t felt this alive before. Not even when I’d had a real heartbeat, real blood in my veins, a real future.”

Together they were fun and sexy and they made my heart melt. Their attachment to each other made them feel like soulmates. The action was really fun and seeing Luca’s “darker” side gave him so much depth. I can’t praise it enough - I had such a blast reading this.

A few themes/tropes:
Smaller top
Financial struggles
Crime boyfriends
Marking/bruising

2 minor issues:
-take a shot every time the word “twitches” is used esp in the epilogue 🤣
-as much as Hunter came up I’m really surprised they didn’t seek revenge or anything

I received an advanced copy for review - all opinions are my own.

A very late addition to my favorite reads of 2025 list. I Came for the ghost shenanigans but I stayed for the most brilliant display of love, hope, compagnionship and domesticity I have read in a book in months. This book had me ugly crying atleast 15 different times and I loved it so much.

I have said it time and time again that my favorite thing is books that focuses on The main characters with all of their feelings and flaws as they navigate different life situations. With a lot of time for the characters to spend time together where their connection develops over time and this book just did all of this so Perfectly. I absolutely adored these two together. They were just the perfect match and I loved how much they supported each other through everything. These two had been hurt in the past and they found their perfect support in their quiet time where they could just be vulnerable together without any pretense. And I just absolutely loved reading all about it.

❝I wanted to crawl inside him, make a home for myself beside his soul. Intertwine us together till none of me was left—till we were just... us. Conjoined. Messy. Fucked up, and beautiful. Two half-men, made whole when we were together.❞

🖤 I absolutely loved Possess Me! The story was hot, emotional and beautifully written. I highlighted so many passages and kept going back to reread them. 🖤

Prudence and Luca are PRECIOUS. Two sad boys, one grumpy and one sunshine. Their paths cross at a club on singles-swap night, when Luca exchanges one of his paintings for a stranger's lucky necklace. As he puts it on, Luca unknowingly ties himself to Prudence, a ghost. At first, he only manifests himself through Luca's thoughts, helping him unwind with some interesting choice of words. You see, Prudence is a bit of a sadist, and Luca is discovering that he likes pain and a touch of humiliation. With the help of Prudence, Luca is able to truly embrace who he is and what he likes in and out of the bedroom.

❝I hadn't ever been able to let go like this, to be uninhibited. Authentic. One hundred percent myself.
But I could now.
Prudence had chosen me.
Not the other way around.❞

On the other hand, Prudence also feels different with Luca. Luca makes him feel things. At first it's more primal, but as the story goes, Prudence changes.

❝He made me feral.
My teeth ached to bite, my hands to maim, my hips to fuck.
[...]
No one had ever made me feel this much before. No one had ever made me feel this possessive urge to dominate.
How was it possible that I had finally found someone that suited my more depraved tastes? We were two puzzle pieces, shaped to fit, a perfect match.

Their interactions are so, so hot. I loved the alternating POVs in this, because we get to see Prudence's growth and how his lust for Luca becomes so much more. He's a small angry ghost with a heart of ice that slowly melts the more he spends time with his tall human "made of cotton candy and sadness". I was so enchanted by Prudence's thoughts and the love they revealed.

❝It wasn't his body that made me feel alive, it was him. His laughter. His smile. The twinkle in his mischievous big gray eyes. I'd let him know me—really, know me.❞

To wrap up this review because I could go on and on, let me just say that if you love paranormal stories, the grumpy/sunshine trope, all the feelings, scorching hot scenes with bdsm undertones, piercings, sad boys, possessiveness... run and grab a copy of Possess Me! (I Want You To), because it's all that and more!

❝The truth was, he could possess me all he desired because I wanted him to.❞

This is the fourth Fae Quin book I've read. I love the way she writes, so I had high expectations... And on top of that, it was my first read with a ghost….
Well the least you could say is that it was a success. I LOVED it! 💜💜💜💜

I'd even go so far as to say it's my favorite yet of her.

From the first pages I instantly liked Luca, he's so funny, sensitive and endearing. The more the story progressed, the more I loved him!

Oh-my-god. What if he was looking at my ass? He was probably looking at my ass. There was a ghost looking at my ass!

When we get to know Prudence it’s the same, you can’t help falling in love with him too. We totally understand why he is the way he is with his horrible past… 🥺

Prudence was... fuck. He was beautiful. Beautiful in the way a snowstorm was. A shark. A wolf closing in on its newest kill. Vicious, deadly, gorgeous.

Pru and Pinkie... Their love story is beautiful. I love them so much… They're my babies! 🥰🥰

This? With Prudence. It didn't feel like any of that. I didn't have to try. It was effortless. It was just him. Just me. No expectations. Nothing but the true essence of us. The parts we'd been too scared to show the world.

I'm so happy they found each other! They are simply perfect together. They really are two sides of the same coin!

I'd never felt this way for anyone. Like if he stopped breathing, so would I. I'd kill for him. Die for him. Die with him.

I can't wait to see what the next book has in store for us.

I absolutely loved reading this and highly recommend it!

This review comes with caveats for other readers. But for me, it was a great read, lots of feels, prickly hedgehog MCs (my heart!) and overall I just couldn’t put it down. So 5*.

Other things I really liked:

- hiking and sort of survival in the woods! Also catnip for me
- the capsule / limited character and location setting meant there was a lot of time spent on character development
- both MCs development over the course of the book, coming out of their shells for each other, was really good
- organic kink development (light choking, biting, a bit of humiliation play, dominance and submission
- the covers are drawn by the author and are so good!

The downsides:
- the plot resolution worldbuilding was a bit unclear. It was intense, and scary, and then it wasn’t. What happened? I don’t know. I’m fine, they’re together and it’s super cute, but it would bother some folks.
- the bright pink hair. Hopping on the vivid haircare critique bandwagon - unless you have naturally pale blonde hair, you aren’t going to be able to maintain bright pink without spending some serious $$. It’s borderline on suspension of disbelief. Maybe his roommate did his hair for him for free and bought the products? Maybe he started with light enough hair he could do it at home without a big issue? I dunno. It was a very cute visual touch tho and the nickname Pinkie was stupid and adorable (fitting thing for Pru to call Luca haha)

Overall I’d recommend, if the issues seem deal-with-able to you. I had fun.

- paranormal romance
- grumpy x sunshine
- size difference
- fluffy but high heat
- opposites attract
- forced proximity, sort of lol

PRUCA FOREVER!!!

After being tricked into accepting a cursed necklace, Luca soon realizes said item is in fact haunted, and finds himself on a mission to break the curse for the very grumpy ghost, Prudence.

Prudence thinks he's found the perfect pawn, but the more time spent with the bubbly pink haired artist has Prudence realizing he may just want to keep him once everything is all said and done.

I'd been dying for Prudence's book after he was introduced in Bite Me! and Fae did not disappoint! The chemistry between Pru and Luca is instantaneous, and despite their differences and temperaments, they somehow just work so perfectly together. Their story is fun, had me laughing out loud, then crying from the unexpected emotions, and then swooning from all the steam!

Possess Me! is yet another perfect addition to the Spooky Boys series, and I cannot wait for Hunt Me! & more books by Fae!

Amazing

This book was exactly what I was looking for. I was a bit hesitant because there were things I didn’t love from the first book. I was so pleasantly surprised, I loved it.

Prudence and Luca are perfect. I love them both, their relationship was amazing. I loved the romance, their background stories, the side characters and everything they went through.

The spice was great. When reading a book that involves pain and some degradation during sex, it has to be extremely well done for it to work. It absolutely worked in this book.

There were some things that were slightly confusing towards the end, but Im letting it go because i still loved everything about it.

Definitely recommend and cannot wait for the next one in the series.

Loved the audiobook, also 5⭐️

[I received a digital arc for an honest review]

Possess Me
is the second stand alone in the Spooky Boys series by Fae Quin. Ya'll I loved this one so damn much !!

No one- before or after death- could compare to Luca. I wanted to own him.

Prudence is a ghost who wants to finally be put to rest, and Luca is his way to accomplish that. Things between them are intimately intense from the start, but as they get to know each other they can't stop feelings from forming. Luca doesn't want to lose Prudence, but will support him even if that means there's no future for them. Will Prudence trust in the strength of his feelings for Luca so they can have their own happy ending.

I didn't mind submitting to him. Not if it ment I was his, and he was mine.

Ahhhh I really don't know where to start, I have zero complaint about this book. Both Luca and Prudence are strong characters who I cared about right from the start. Luca is a sunshine character even though when the story begins he's struggling with depression and Pru is grumpy alpha goodness. I loved them individually, I loved them together, I love them while they were sharing french fries, and I loved when Pru gave Luca the pain and dominating that he craved. Where I felt the previous book didn't deliver on its sexual tropes, this one went above and beyond what I expected. I'm talking right from the start, their relationship begins steamy and never lets up. They have a very sex based relationship, but as they slowly get to see the people behind the masks they both wear, they build a trust and bond between them.

I wanted to crawl inside him, make a home for myself beside his soul. Intertwine us together till none of me was left - till we were just ...us. Conjoined. Messy . Fucked up, and beautiful. Two half-men, made whole when we were together.

I feel like I could probably write another 3 paragraphs gushing about my favorite parts but that'd be spoilery, so I'll just leave it at this. Possess Me is a paranormal romance with a possessive ghost, a struggling artist, freckles, french fries & Oreos, bonding over painting, body possession, extreme steam, piercings, humiliation & pain kink, creative uses of ice cream, and a happy ending for two men who compliment each other perfectly.

Oh. My. GAWD I freaking LOVED this book!!! These two boys 🥵🫠

This review WILL not do this book justice, and I’m sorry for that. I’m processing, okay?!?

Fae. I love you. You write so beautifully. Your books move a bit slower than most that I read. But I’m not complaining. I love everything about your style.

This book was all I expected and so much more. This is my very first ghost/human romance, and can I just say that I. AM. HERE. FOR. IT. I was not expecting this to be so delicious!

And Pruca?? I LOVE these boys. Love them. The sadness and worthlessness that Luca feels? The anger and hopelessness of Prudence. I felt it ALL.

I love them, your honour. 🙌
Luca is a struggling artist who’s at the point in his life where he’ll trade his art for a random “lucky” necklace at a club. Turns out the lucky necklace holds more than he bargained for, because said necklace is a talisman that contains the ghost of Prudence. Prudence is a broody ghost that just wants to pass on and die for good. He and Luca make a deal—Luca helps Pru pass on, and Prudence will help support Luca’s family financially.

This book has:
-grumpy ghost / sunshine human
-possessive ghost (in more ways than one)
-possession for the purpose of: crime, s*x and emotional intimacy 😈
-D/S vibes and some light-hearted k*nky themes
-great humour
-chaotic road trip
-some hurt / comfort

Honestly this book was fantaaaaastic. I loved the characters and their love story so much. Prudence is very emotionally detached and pragmatic, but the way he learns to care for Luca is sooooo sweet. And Luca? God I love him. He’s funny and lighthearted, but also has layers to his character. The way they are together is sometimes hilarious, sometimes super hot, and then sometimes so heart-achingly emotional that I almost cried a couple times. Fantastic execution of the romantic content and character building in this book.

Though this book says it’s a standalone in the interconnected universe, I do really think you should read book one first, as it explains a lot about Prudence’s backstory, and it isn’t rehashed well enough in this book. The plot of this book was fun and kept me hooked the whole time, but I will say, there were some under-explained parts that had me wishing they were tied up better. This is the only reason the book wasn’t 5⭐️ for me.

This book is almost 500 pages, but it didn’t feel like it was dragging at all. I absolutely adore Fae Quinn’s writing style, and enjoy it more and more with every book I read by her. The balance between romance and plot, humour and emotional depth—fantastic.

I will definitely be reading the rest of the books in this series that I haven’t already devoured. Love this author! Perfect book for spooky season!

As usual when it come to Fae’s writing you get fantastic world building and detail along with the amazing chemistry of characters, in this case Prudence and Luca.

I always identify with the grumpy character so Prudence delivered for me. I just loved him. But then combine him with beautiful Luca and its as entertaining as it is gorgeous.

Really enjoyed their story. Fae never fails to deliver a great story.

The author has provided an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

Possess Me! is book 2 in the Spooky Boys series by Fae Quin.

My cheeks are still a bit wet, even hours after finishing this book. It took me longer to read than it should normaly have taken me (adulting, parenting, life and such) but I'm so happy because I was able to take a breath and savour the beauty of this masterpiece. I swear Prudence and Luca actually visited me in my dreams one night. That's how freaking obsessed I am with them.

What I loved the most about this story, is how Fae was able to present a darker character in such a light and lovable way. Prudence was everything I was hoping he'd be. Dominant yet caring, broodish yet playful... just perfection. Despite all the abuse he had to endure in the past, the way he let Luca into his life and his heart was really magical.

And Luca, my sweet baby Luca and his sunshine personality also tainted by past experiences. He was just all in and his inner thoughts put a huge smile on my face. I will be posting my favourite Luca quotes in the near future because they are a delight! I laughed out loud quite a few times with Luca.

Together as one, or separately, Prudence and Luca absolutely belong together. I could feel their vibe through their actions and words. This book was hot hot hot.

I'm so happy Fae got to write this enchanting story. Even after all the crying from the last 4 chapters, this book still ended up being the light in my oh so overwhelming life. I'm just in awe of Fae's writing style. I'm not a big fan of BDSM in books and yet the way Fae angled this kink was stunning and so well done. It was light and very enjoyable. Definately a favourite this year.

Please check trigger warnings. And ENJOY.

WTF.
This was so freaking good that i’m in disbelief. I read the first book and it was alright but damn Prudence was 😫 plus my smol baby Luca (boy is not small to the detriment of Pru🤣). Like i think i like this because of the grumpy/sunshine that was displayed so perfectly, the unconventional relationship (small dom top + big sub bottom). I eat those up every time and this story didn’t disappoint. Plus, i read this physically instead of listening to it which made the experience much more memorable. Read this book, if not the first than this. It has everything, tatted man, pierced man, possessive men, codependent men; basically, all the men. Anywho, stay hydrated, bye lovelies 💗, until next time.

Feeling like there’s a Soul Eater-sized hole in your heart? Upset that spooky season is still (legally) months away? Curious what would happen if Casper the Friendly Ghost grew up and got veryyy friendly? Well boy, do I have the book for you.

📖 The Tropes: PNR, Adventure/Mystery

“It wasn’t fair that I’d met my perfect match and he was already dead.”
Luca is supposed to help Prudence get out of limbo and pass on, but the idiot falls in love with him instead. If you read the blurb and aren’t prepared to read about death, that’s on you. Honestly, I expected this book to be a lot more trigger-y than it was. I appreciate the very thorough TW list, and there is one scene that has some violence, but the overall vibe is really romantic and hilarious. (DM me for TW-specific questions/spoilers).

“I knew this wouldn’t end well—it couldn’t. I knew it couldn’t. It would crash and burn—but hell—it would be one wild, delicious ride.”

💜 The Relationship: Grumpy/sunshine, Smaller dom/bigger sub

“We were two puzzle pieces, shaped to fit, a perfect match. It made no sense. He made no sense. But here he was anyway. Confusing. Annoying. Absolutely fucking pretty when he cried.”
Prudence feels nothing, Luca feels everything, and they’re just trying to make it through each day. They were so hot together, but their emotional relationship is what makes it five stars. I loved that secrets were kept from the reader, and you don’t learn them until they’re vulnerable enough to share them with each other. I also appreciate that the deep moments were offset with some hilarious ones.

“I thought the waterworks would finally be over when Luca ran out of cereal to cry into. I’d been wrong.”

👬The Characters

Luca “Hi, I’m a 24-year-old hot mess with trust issues” Baker

Described as “made of cotton candy and sadness” Luca is not your typical sunshine character. He’s sneaky and morally gray and really fucking brave. I thought he was going to be another himbo, but I was so pleasantly surprised by his depth.

Prudence “I didn’t ask” Redacted
Basically, think Wyn but with mommy issues, tattoos and a very domineering eyebrow. Here. For. It.

Possess me is the second book in the Spooky Boys series by Fae Quin and it was amazing!

The premise of the book was so original and I’d never read anything like it. Luca’s circumstances bring him to a club in Ridgefield where he trades his art for a supposedly lucky necklace, only to find out later that it belongs to the ghost haunting him. The whole discovering there’s a ghost part was absolutely hilarious, I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. Luca’s “begone!” was the funniest thing ever 🤣.

Oh-my-god. What if he was looking at my ass? He was probably looking at my ass. There was a ghost looking at my ass!

Luca was going through a difficult time and he put so much pressure on himself. He truly was his own worst judge. He was capable, fierce and demonstrated open-mindedness when it came to discovering Prudences’s existence (after the initial shock 😅). I felt like some people in his life underestimated him and thought of him as just a harebrained guy when he was so much more than that.

I was so curious about Prudence because of his backstory we learned in Bite Me. He experienced many traumatic events before and after his death. He never chose to become a ghost and didn’t see anything worth staying for. I loved how Luca got under his skin, how he helped him open up and gain his freedom back after so many years of being controlled.

Their relationship was beautiful. They accepted and embraced each other for who they are, faults included. I loved how they had a deep understanding of what the other needed.

Some of us loved others for their faults, and not despite them.

They had meaningful conversations and there were scenes that were so emotional they made me tear up 🥹. Once again, Fae’s writing is wonderful and I highly recommend this book!

“You don’t have to be anything when you’re with me,” I promised him quietly. “You can just be…whatever it is you are.”

**I received an advanced copy from Indie Author Creative of this book and these are my honest thoughts**

I loved Pru and Luca, they were so cute together. I did find the middle of the book to be a bit bland, nothing really happened and the story didn't move along as it had been.

However I still had a fun time with this book and I adored the ending.

I was a bit unsure going into this book how a ghost x human relationship would work but Fae made it her own, writing her own rules that made sense.

A fun and cute read set in the Spooky Boys world. Also, is Luca related to Baxter from the Christmas Daddies series?! Please say someone else picked up on that link?? 🤭

As soon as Prudence was introduced in the first book I knew he was my type of guy and that I will fall in love with him, no questions asked lol he was intriguing and i was really curious how his story will be told. I wasn't disappointed.

He is everything I was hoping for and more. Angry, misunderstood, broody, dominant yet, caring and playful when he finally opened up. He carried the weight of his past actions heavy on his shoulders. When his life is unexpectedly mixed with Luca's things slowly starting to shift inside of him. I don't think he realised himself, at least at the beginning, what this pink haired guy was doing to him.

Now my sweet boy Luca. He is a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day even if he believes that his spark is not as bright or gone because of his past experiences. He tortures himself with thoughts of disappointing his family. He is such a contrast to Pru, but together, even with their differences, they couldn't be more perfect. They were meant to be. They are a one hot couple. I'm telling you nobody told me that ghost sex can be so hoootttt!

This second book had a slightly different vibe to the first one. The sexiness hits you right in your face, and I will gladly take that hit every single time, lol These guys will take you on a road trip of a lifetime. I can't express how much I've enjoyed their relationship growth. The acceptance and love these two share made my heart melt.

I could write endless praises here because I honestly love these guys, and I will shout out loud PRUCA 4EVER! Fae yet again did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and giving us such a unique and beautiful story! I can't wait for the next book in this series!

You’re something else meant… You’re perfect. You’re wonderful. It meant… You’re surprising. You’re better than anyone I’ve ever met before. You’re confusing in the best way. Three innocent words, with a love poem hidden between the cracks.
This was cute. The cover of the book threw me off completely. For some reason I was expecting a fantasy world of vampires and ghosts and witches but instead I got San Diego. Further complicating things is that the MC who is a ghost is named Prudence so I had trouble picturing him as the 5'3" tattooed bad boy he's described as coupled with the book cover. My solution to you, fellow reader, flip to the 99% mark of your Kindle where there is a much better drawing of the two cuties that, had I seen in the beginning, I would have been able to imagine these boys a lot more effectively. I'm quite pissed tbh because I struggled hard with this one.

Also it was W A Y T O O L O N G. I could have lopped off 200 pages and still been fine. Here's a secret - I read the entire ending and I'm still clueless as to what the hell happened with his ghost-ess and the secret word/amulet/prison thing. I don't know if I managed to skip a sentence, an important word, or what but I have no idea what the plot resolution was with that! 3 stars for cuteness but wasting almost an entire day of my life reading something that confused me.
