I just took a summer course in Statistics that used this book through Pearson Stat Lab. The book is quite good, but the online format made it difficult for a tactile girl like me. I only had access to the book for the duration of the course, so I just bought an old edition for my own benefit. If a book is good enough to want to keep it after the course ends, that means something.

I plan on tutoring my girls using this book BEFORE they take Statistics, so they can ace it.

I really didn't like this book. I almost never found the explanations to be intuitive, and so I almost always was googling for something better before I move forward. Sometimes the visuals and practice exercises were solid.
