I liked this book because it had a lot of short stories. And that's what I like about some books. I like to read books with short stories. I liked that this book has short stories but I would've liked that it could've had different short stories because the short stories that were in this book were like the same stories repeating but in different ways.
I liked this book because as I already said I like to read books that have short stories. And I also liked it because it has a lot of true stories that happen a lot with different people. I really recommend this book to people that has the same problems as the people's stories that are in the book because that can help them to find a way of resolving their problems.
This book was fantastic. A lot of times, on the rare occasion that publishers decide to value kid's writing, there is an annoying narrative of a savior teacher thrown in there. This book has none of that. It is just raw student voice. Jam packed with kid's stories. 147 kid's pieces. Awesome. Also pretty depressing. Watch out for that part.
This book is wonderful full of true stories, letters and essays by nearly a hundred such young people who have come of age in a particularly vicious period, Everyone should read!
