I think I may have finally read too many 'SI's by page 15. This book was entirely too short to deal with two romances, suspense, and some action. It was superficially written, and after the third sex scene, I started skipping them altogether. Also, the reactions of the characters were too unbelievable (trusting someone after only a night together? is that really a fair expectation?). Lastly, the resolution/villain was predictable, as the wife/servant/Medici family plot was set up almost immediately.

When I found that this book had never been rated on goodreads, it made me curious to read it. I enjoyed this immensely and compare it to a Shakespearean drama. The sex was hot with one and a half f/f scenes but mostly just hot man on man action. I highly recommend this read.
