Great book to have as a student and can also be used as a refresher in later years.

As a grooming student it is a great tool to get the basics and the overall idea of the cuts you need to do, it can't teach you how to do them and you still need guidance as to how to get them exactly right but according to my fellow groomers it is a great tool when a dog comes in that you haven't done in a while or that you have a hard time with. Overall it's a great reference and learning aid and I would say is a must to have on hand.

uhhhhh every haircut in this book is the same...but it's one of the only books out there. there are older books that are more detailed and the patterns are more diverse.
