When Federal Agent Shanna McKay -- aka Tiger Lily -- is assigned to a new case on a tough precinct, her shady past returns to haunt her. She has to bust drug lord, Mañuel Santos, who caused her sister's disappearance years previously. Desperate to even the score, Shanna infiltrates the organization by using her most powerful weapon ? her sexuality. Hard-hitting erotica mixes with low-life gangsters in a tough American police precinct.
When taking the Myers-Briggs personality test in high school, Kimberly was rated as an INFJ (Introverted-Intuitive-Feeling-Judging). This result sent her into a panic, because there were no career paths recommended for the type. Fortunately, it turned out to be well-suited to a writing career. Since receiving that dismal outlook, Kimberly has become an award-winning author of romance and erotica. She has written for seven publishing houses, both domestic and international, and has recently focused her efforts on the exciting world of self-publishing. When not writing, she enjoys movies, sports, traveling, music, and sunshine. In her mind, a beach, some rock 'n' roll, and a good book make for a perfect day.
I was in the mood for a really naughty erotic read and this story was perfect. The h is a cop trying to catch the guy who murdered her sister. She is willing to go to extreme lengths such as sleeping with his men to get closer to finding him. Her boss is also in love with her and he is really protective and possessive. This story is scorching HOT!!! I mean like on fire!!! Ms. Dean writes alpha males and sex scenes that are unlike any author out there. This is one of her older stories and her current stuff (such as LEXIE) has been a disappointment. I'm not giving up on this author. Maybe her next story (MAXIE) will be better.
erotica isn't my usual go to, but I was on a Kimberly Dean kick. I think she does so well with romance/erotic romance.
This was ... really sexy and I ALWAYS love the "forbidden love" and relationship stories. Some TSTL with her running around and putting herself into situations - and the recklessness ... but there was a lot going on and the backstory and history and the sister and O_o Now thinking about it there was a LOT. A lot, and rather developed characters, crazy chemistry ...
