One of my favorite books of all time. It’s incredibly thought provoking and a shoe in for best book of all time. If you haven’t picked up this novel, do so. It puts War and Peace in its place.

Very interesting.
Educationally wise... it's great. It really gives a simple biography for small children. It can help also kickstart a learning experience.
Literature wise... its okay. Nothing too special, but since it's meant for children or read aloud I think that Peter Roop just didn't care. Some of the story parts go by WAY too fast, while others are just too fleshed out. Otherwise, it's okay, I wouldn't recommend but I also wouldn't say that I dislike it. I'm on the fence...

For beginner readers, this book is a great way to get them to learn about the man who was Ben Franklin. Nicely illustrated and entertaining, young readers should enjoy reading how Ben grew up and learned the values that made him who he was.
