Engaging

I liked the characters, from the good girl main character, to the free spirited cousin, to the confused runaway. The Book had some typos, but the story line was good - beginning with the main character just wanting to get away on her own - to her female relatives muscling in, in a funny but realistic way - to the runaway and the walls she put up. I could either see myself or many of my relatives in those characters. It's a good beach read.

Sweet Story

I liked this book because the story was sweet. The characters were interesting. I really enjoyed how the story progressed throughout the book.

I am about 50% of the way, and am giving up. The writing wasn't bad, I just don't care about the characters. They have no substance, and I need substance. Thought it would be a light fun read, but no.

A solo vacation turned family reunion (of sorts) creates a backdrop for unforgettable family memories.
