Will Dudgeon is 13 years-old when his body is stolen. Suddenly he's the oldest man he's ever seen, with all the aches and pains that go with that. At least he's in the right job. At Nettlefold and Dad Funeral Directors he can offer full-on, superfine funerals - but for how much longer?
It tells the story of a bodysnatcher and how he survives through time by swapping bodies with other humans. The first half of the novel is a bit of a bore, however things get very interesting towards the end. Eco-friendly burial is a new concept that I came across in this book. The book's commentary on age, life and death can be a good introduction on these topics for children. This book will fare well in the hands of an Eco critic!
