I have been reading a number of books while exploring ordination in the Church of England. I enjoyed this book, as it had a focus on calling, which was much wider than just the priesthood. I appreciated the Biblical stories and characters interwoven with wisdom and stories from present day saints too. Barnabas is my favourite Bible character next to Jesus, so I was delighted that he was the case study towards the end of the book. If you want to be a blessing to others for Christ, this book is a good place to look for encouragement and wisdom of how to discern Gods calling. It was also well written and engaging to read.

very helpful for all those who feel called to serve the Lord, but also those who are not so sure. This book helps you take a step back, challenges you, and causes you to ask important questions, helping to discern and focus on God's plan
