This is a channeled communication. What I find interesting is that the "voice" of the entity has a distinct "personality" much like Seth in the Jane Roberts material. It is a remarkable dis-similarity to the Law of One material which has a rather humorless highly technical, almost computer-like quality. It is also interesting that the entity in this book readily offered his name, Tom. When Dolores Cannon did her thousands of hypnotic regressions, her clients would always contact a well-informed (if not all-knowing) nameless entity. This book's entity, Tom, would often ask the witnesses (people in the room other than the channel) questions like "Do you understand?". This folksy familiarity bothered me, because of my previous exposure to other channeled material. Setting aside my concerns with the style of the communications, the basic message was very consistent in this book with the Law of One material. Topics of concern were similar: government secrecy, pollution, war, warnings about "bad" E.T.s, the coming earth changes, the need for individuals to raise their own consciousness are all shared among these various sources. One of the areas I found particularly interesting was the discussions about what would precipitate the E.T.s showing themselves. Basically, the explanations in this book were the same as in the Law of One. IF we were to destroy the planet with our nuclear weapons the E.T.s would interfere. But basically, the Law of the Universe is like they said on Star Trek (Prime Directive) that advanced civilizations are not allowed to interfere with developing civilizations. [BTW, Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek's creator, was an early participant in these channelings and did ask Tom questions which are documented in this book.] There is always much discussion of what constitutes "interference". It is explained that the advanced E.T.s can come and "seed" life. They can tweak our DNA to advance our development. They can give us "Gifts" such as the knowledge of fire, the wheel, language, agriculture, cosmology, etc. However, once the "Gift" is given, they can not come back and say tell us how to use the gift. What we do with the "Gift" is a result of our FREE WILL. Which is again, a fundamental Law of the Universe. Beings are given Free Will in order to LEARN the consequences of their choices. If their choices were constantly constrained, their learning would be limited. This all makes a lot of sense. Similarly, the E.T.s want humanity to expand their belief systems and include the possibility of intelligent life other than any that may be found on Earth. They don't want to traumatize us by just showing up and making their presence an undeniable reality. This explains our current situation where any thinking person can find plenty of evidence for the reality of E.T.s but those that can not accept their existence within their current belief systems are currently free to continue to deny their reality. This is considered a kindness to those that would be traumatized by a UFO landing on the White House lawn. There exists a narrow window of deniability for those that need it. Within the UFO community, the biggest issue is "DISCLOSURE" by which they mean, the President of the United States gets on TV and says, E.T.s are real, and we have agreements with some of these races, etc. Many believe this will not happen because there is no incentive for the government to do this and every incentive NOT to do it. Thus we have, what we currently have. A policy of Non-Disclosure type of Disclosure, which includes thousands of pages of government documents released through the Freedom of Information Act which are currently available on the Internet for anyone who wants to search for them. Everyone if free to believe what they want. Isn't that nice?

The Only Planet of Choice: Essential Briefings from Deep Space by Phyllis V. Schlemmer is an extraordinary, intriguing, profound, provocative, mind-blowing experience. If this book is underpinned by truth - which is my gut feel - then it must be one of the most inspiring and significant books ever written in the 21st century for prople trying to find what life is about and their place in it. I rate the knowledge and information brought forth along side Dr Michael Newton's books relating to 'Journey of Souls' and 'Destiny of Souls'.

The book's underlying theme is centred on the power that each of us has of Free Will and Choice to create a world that brings peace, inspiration and harmony into everyone's life. To realise - but not yet realised - the caged, unlimited potential, in each of us to secure our dreams. There is included in this book chapters on the existence of ET civilisations and their current interactions with Earth; the 24 Universal civilisations and the Council of Nine or Elders; Jesus the Nazarine; Nature of the Mind of One - the God Source; Egypt and pyramids and ancient history of humanity; the importance of Dolphins and the link to Atlantis and its downfall through mis-use of 'Heavy Water' in the spent waste of Nuclear technology and much more...

I recommend this book to all those that are prepared to open their minds to perhaps a larger reality that surrounds us? Buy on Amazon.

This is the book that inspired me to write this on my blog:

"I want to write a whole set of stories about what goes on behind the scenes in life. I don’t mean the kinds of things that go on behind closed curtains but more like how the machinery behind our lives works.

For example, when we do things, like smile at strangers, meditate for world peace or doubt our faith, what happens next? I want to write stories that show what happens next. I want to show the consequences of both trivial and profound actions, words and thoughts. I want to take the lid off the machinery of life and describe what’s in there.

So often, we have no idea whether the card we signed to send best wishes to Mrs Smith in the accounts department to recover from her operation quickly had any effect. I want to show exacly what happens in situations like these.

This book is a follow-up and extension of "The Prelude to the Landings on Planet Earth" from the 70's. If you've never heard about "The Nine" it's high time you did, since they may be the ones who are working behind the scenes of our recent history.

Sometimes, one has to take what is written with a grain of salt, but then all channellings should be taken that way. This adds a layer of confusion to our collective consciousness: was that its true purpose?

This is the one book of all books for me which I discovered when I worked in a metaphysical bookstore in London back in the 90’s. It answered every question I'd ever had about life on earth, the universe and why we’re here. I’ve given copies to friends and strangers over the decades and just now recommended it to someone I just met. I agree it’s as compelling as The Seth Material, The RA Material (audio book on YT), Conversations With God (3 book series & movie on YT), Out On A Limb book (2 pt TV movie on YT) and A Course In Miracles.
A few years ago I found out a fellow rock musician I reconnected with on FB who forty years earlier went to India to Sai Baba's ashram, played keyboards for him and was blessed by him told me when I mentioned this book that she actually knew Phyllis bc she was her neighbor! For decades I'd always wondered about Phyllis and had tried contacting her with no response. I found out from my friend that she had passed away several years ago but I was able to speak to her daughter on the phone. I was also able to find Palden Jenkins online who sat in on these sessions and wrote the forward to the book and my husband and I met him at his home in Cornwall, UK. Small world.

Thought provoking and fascinating. Whether you are inclined to believe that these 'briefings' are channeled from deep space or not, it doesn't really matter. There is much to consider and ask yourself how you might answer these questions - or what kind of questions you might ask. It's not for everybody, this book, but I found it more than just intriguing.

So I am glad I kept researching because I think now that the roots of this strange book can be found in the writings of Solara, two of which are available at the Internet Archive. Or perhaps a related source. Attempting to track the origin of an idea through time and space is fascinating.

i think it's funny that spiritual beings that are being channeled in this books use only christian stories and the bible as a referance...

If you can’t imagine learning anything from a deep trance channel, then this is not the book for you. But you’d be missing some zinger insights
