This is a very "sane" book on deliverance. Written from a Catholic perspective, it is also meant for and fitting for non-Catholics and is respectful in mentioning that there are different traditions of worship and community. But truth is not hedged, and balance is given. This book importantly addresses the need for living a healthy, balanced Christian life as one of the primary tools for living in spiritual freedom.

As a Catholic Christian who has also been a non-Catholic charismatic Christian, I would highly recommend this book to those who know (or suspect) that Scripture speaks truthfully about the existence and activity of demons in the world, but who are a bit leery of so-called deliverance ministries that seem to be based on nothing more than the personality of a minister. I would also recommend it to Catholics who for some reason doubt the existence of demonic activity in the world, or who believe that one must run to a priest to have these ministry needs met.
