He studied physics at the Arak College of Science and fled the country as a political refugee in 1988. Today he lives in Delft (The Netherlands), writing under a pseudonym made up of the names of two murdered friends. Het huis van de moskee (The House of the Mosque), catapulted Abdolah into the Dutch bestseller lists.

Het is een klein dun boekje. Het herbergt een verhaal, een essay, foto's uit het Perzische leven van de nu Nederlandse schrijver en een bibliografie.

May 27, 2025Afgeschreven bij de bibliotheek, maar compact boekje waarin ik meer te weten gekomen ben over Kader Abdolah. Inclusief mooi verhaal van zijn hand. Verder vooral veel bio- en bibliografische informatie.
