End of Capitalism: The Thought of Henryk Grossman

Rate this book
Henryk Grossman is a name most socialists or students of political and social theory - let alone the mass of working people around the world - have probably never heard of. Yet Grossman, a Polish Jew born in 1881, deserves recognition as the most sophisticated defender of Karl Marx's theory of capitalism's inevitable collapse. With capitalism sinking into its deepest ever crisis, Grossman's neglected work must be revisited and popularised. Is capitalism entering its final breakdown?

thus goes the empire... Grossman laid out the math, fleshed out Marx's theories about the contradictions in capitalism and how it will end eventually. look around and see how the system gets more and more cruel until workers will have no choice but to come up with a more equitable system (socialism). good intro, intrigued me enough to read about this some more

Less hunger, although more people living, better living condition, lower percent of deaths because of disease, indeed Capitalism should end and humanity should go back to the early successes of Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, and other anti-capitalist regimes.
