Five very different youngsters, their elderly history teacher, Mr. Baldwin, and a runaway rabbit find themselves trapped in their school during a terrible ice storm, a situation that turns potentially tragic when Mr. Baldwin suffers a heart attack.
If I was reading this book for the first time, I would not give it more than 2 stars. It's not that interesting and all but the two main characters are purposefully one-dimensional. But I've read it so many times, and I love the main characters from the first (and better) book about them, and however much it gets worse on each successive reread I know I'll read it again.
