Read this my first year as a pastor back in April of 1990. I don't recall too much about the book other than the impression that it helped with my preaching as I was very into narrative storytelling back then. Still am to a certain degree. The power of story in preaching.

Solid, broad vision on Spirit-filled biblical preaching. A little too heavy on theory. Could have used more practical application of spirit, word, and story throughout.
