Great book I got from Ivan Misner when I visited with him at his home he is a great man with so much wisdom to share and this is a great book. If you are not quite sure what success means to you then read this book. You get to read a little bit from a variety of people to see how they have accomplished what they call success! Remember success is a journey not a destination!

It's a meh book. Not much of a guide on how to achieve success but inspiring stories on the people who fought and pushed through hurdles to achieve success. Interesting read when you feel like you can't overcome anything.

Strengths finder 2.0 by Tom Rath 2007, 176 pages
This book promises to help people uncover their hidden talents and personalized strenghts. They give
you an assessment based on an online test they created to put you into a "theme" category that best
matches your inner strenghts. Upon finishing the test you are automatically given your personal
Strength/ theme, based off their data research. Their data is based off of 40 years of research and
testing. You receive a theme report detailing who you are, and the career field you should be in or take
and also a theme for your best matched "Strengths finder friend or associate." The Strengths finder
friend or associate is someone whom they suggest that matches your "theme" (character/qualities) to
link up with in life or business. Themes are noted as common talents and strengths of human beings.
Example themes are, achiever, activator, analytical, arranger, deliberative, developer, ideation, learner,
relator, strategic, woo... The authors also give you an action plan to take after you discover your life's
theme to help you with your natural God-given ability and strentghs.
I read this book some years ago and took the online assesment. My results were very interesting into
who they said I was. In this book there is some data about who they said I am that is correct but there
are some areas were I believe they get it wrong according to my life, personal interest, the bible and the
mind of Christ. I follow Jesus, the anointed one and the God who created the Heavens and the earth.
The test was fun! I enjoyed their research project. I really enjoy the earth, the people and life.

This book isnt a guide to success stories, its other peoples success stories.

Which isn't really bad but if I wanted to hear about how people overcame obstacles I would choose people that relate to me. Which you dont have a choice doing since the book is already pre-written.

I will tell you this, read the first few testimonials, they were the most influential (to me) out of the book.

Some good thoughts and packaged in short segments by many authors so that's interesting, but it pushes BNI
