I gave this book 4 stars because it really gave me the tools and wisdom needed to understand what the Bible teaches on loosing and binding. It is very practical, very helpful and amazingly useful. The book is well written with good content and kept my attention for the duration of the read. God
Really used this book to reveal some of my personal strongholds and then how to get rid of them. Two thumbs up!

This is a “must” read book for those who believes in the spiritual warfare that we’re in. The author provides a deeper & profound truth for us to be set free from unknown strongholds that each of us may have built up from childhood.
(ps: I read the updated & expanded edition)

Just finished a quick reread of Shattering Your Strongholds by Liberty Savard. When the booked was picked up several years ago, it proved a good book to help focus a Christian on the Word if God and not self.

When we fortify our strongholds to protect lies we sabotage ourselves.

My view of the book is different from the first read, but there has been much study and life experiences since. Still, good gems to pull out and ponder for potential action.

This book takes a practical approach to applying Biblical teaching and principles to gain spiritual growth. Thought-provoking and convicting instruction to take the Bible at its word, and be doers, not just hearers.

Long-winded and repetitive, but the concepts are liberating. Worth reading and even more worth putting into practice

If you have any trouble getting free of sins, if you don't understand what it means to "renew your mind" if you struggle even after having Prayer Deliverance, this is the book for you.
This book offers timeless help with issues that the church doesn't seem to want to address. The information in here will never cease to be helpful!

There is a lot of great stuff in this book, but though the author brings up many good points, she also loses some clarity on some points due to her extreme zeal. One chapter in particular was completely awry. With that said, this book is the prime example fo not throwing the baby out with the bath water as most of it is sound and revolutionary.

While thought provoking, I am not certain some of the things in this book were accurate. Was difficult to get through. Read it in church book club and discussed at length. I can't really say I enjoyed it though!

Interesting book. It confirmed a few things for me and I know God used it to speak to me. I think the overall message for me was faith and trusting God on his word. The teach on strongholds was insightful. 3.5

I enjoyed this book which gave me so much to think about and practise. It was a difficult read in the beginning. I had to reread a lot to get things to sink in. This could be a style issue.
