This was a very good education but fun book to help teach about cows, bulls, and mostly calves. From birth till they are two. Photographs instead of illustrations. Very nicely done.

I really enjoyed this book and the simple facts that were given about cows and calves. It gave very simple statements about varying facts about cattle and what they are like. This would be great for young children. There were also a book on dogs and ducks which would be interesting to read and talk about animals and their varying characteristics. Also working on a ranch these would be great books to read to my children about the cattle and ranch dogs. It can also open up conversation about other animals and how they live and survive.
