Emanations: In-depth analysis of the Jewish holidays through the prism of rabbinic perspective

by Ari D. Kahn

There is more to Jewish holidays than just culture and cuisine. But what exactly are the deeper significances behind the festivals?

Using a wealth of Midrashic, Aggadic and mystical sources, Rabbi Ari Kahn, renowned lecturer at Aish HaTorah and Bar Ilan University, masterfully weaves a tapestry of breathtakingly original, incredibly deep and brilliantly intelligent essays on the meaning behind the individual Jewish holidays. What is the connection between Mashiach ben David, Mashiach ben Yosef, primordial light and darkness and Rosh Chodesh? What was the real extent of Esther and Mordechai's heroic self sacrifice during the Purim story? Emanations, an in-depth analysis of the holidays through the prism of Rabbinic perspective, will significantly enhance your appreciation of the yamim tovim and their tremendous spiritual potential.
