I’m King of the Dragons. I will not fall prey to my enemy, or to the female who threatens to steal my heart.
Vrokard As soon as I arrive on Earth, I fall prey to a human. Janis. She’s ill... or so she claims. I cannot trust her, or any alien, but neither can I resist her scent, her allure.
I must destroy this magic that she uses on me, a sorcery that exists among human females and already controls my brothers.
When I take her, I fall further into her trap. I cannot get enough of her, but I have a war to win.
I’m King of the Dragons. I will not fall prey to my enemy, or to the female who threatens to steal my heart.
Janis Vrokard is arrogant, hates humans, and infuriates me. And I can’t say no to him. Even when he takes my v-card, I have no regrets. Despite all of my sister’s protests that he’ll hurt me, I continue to let him into my bed.... and my heart.
He’ll never love me. His hatred for humans will never let him. I’m not sure he’s even capable of loving another. But we need him and his army to drive the enemy from Earth.
When he’s in danger, I do the unthinkable which drives a wedge so far between us he’ll never forgive me. Or learn to love me. That is something I’m not sure I can survive...
The storyline had potential. But, I couldn't continue because mostly all her Fmc are barely 18yrs and what's worse is that they are recognized as mates from childhood. Mmc was having nasty thoughts about fmc, and he has doubts she was even legal. Damn I would like to see more authors write about grown women. Very Concerning authors are writing about very young, inexperienced women. Very uncomfortable, so beware. Also, for my personal reading, I don't like reading any fictional storyline mentioning or disparaging a Judeo religion and, in the same paragraph, talk about Satanic rituals & altars and fmc & mmc proceed to have sex on altar? Very confusing because I thought they were talking about a certain religion, and then fmc talks about naughty rituals taking place on these altars. Cringe and straight out creepy af! This review is meant for those who read for escape and like to read fun spicy adventures it's okay to have dark themes with reconciliation and redeeming qualities for mc's. But this one didn't make the cut.
So when I first started reading this book, I didn't think I would like it. The longer I read it though the more I got into it. I love how detailed it is, at first I didn't like Vrokard because of how he was treating Janis. To put it lightly Vrokard is a total Alpha asswhole, but the spicy between Janis and Vrokard are off the charts. I have already started recommending this book to others. I suggest you read this book to find out what happens to Janis and Vrokard.
This series was some of the best storytelling that I've run across in quite awhile. It was spellbinding, and it stretched your imagination fantastically. The plethora of different kinds of difficulties and suspenseful moments kept me entranced. I would eagerly look forward to the characters next dilemma and their solutions for each problem. That's probably why I love good sci-fi stories. Recommended!
I enjoyed this book but was disappointed that it was the last book in the series. The Predator alien plot line never got picked back up much less resolved. We didn't even get to know anything about Maya's baby. This book would have been 5 stars if it didn't conclude the series.
The Dragon King Vrokard is so against dragons mating aliens he threatened Briana. His brothers were ready to kill him and the king backed off. Then he smelled Janis and abducted her.
