It was okay, but I found it to be incredibly repetitive. The organization of the book was confusing at times as well. Chapters 1, 2, and 4 were probably the most useful.
There are a lot of great ideas in this book. However, I find some of the graphic organizers and strategies to be confusing. I think I will probably have to reread some sections before using any of these strategies with my students. The most valuable part of the book for me will be the handouts about the different terms of the genre of graphic novels in the first chapter.
Some useful information, but lots of redundancies within the book - same worksheet printed in three different places, etc. Didn't really add much to the conversation.
