Summary
Accountability is an action thriller by Bob Price. Leo Priest spent 15 years of his life in prison for a murder he didn’t commit, and worst, the higher authorities knew about it. He was given money and 24 hours to get out of the country, so he has a choice to live peacefully and start a new life, or find the real murderer to redeem himself.
Review
This was such a short and fast read! I rarely finished a book in one sitting and I finished this one in two hours! I think, not knowing whether or not Leo could prove his innocence, how he’s going to do it, and what danger awaits him, considering that he’s up against someone powerful enough to get away with a crime, was what made me keep on reading this book until I finally finished it.
I like that it’s fast-paced, the flow was smooth, and the narrative was well-written. However, I think the storyline was quite common. Nevertheless, the theme's familiarity made it an easy read, but I would've given it a perfect rating if there was an astounding twist, or if the main lead had a mysterious appeal.
Overall, I’m giving this book 4 out of 5 stars. It’s entertaining, and anyone can enjoy reading it in one sitting. I recommend this book to readers who like action thrillers.

Leo Priest has been in prison for 15 years -- for a crime he did not commit, and his boss knew he was innocent! Now those who did nothing to help him will have to pay. An action-packed thriller with a great ending. I received a free copy of this book from Net Galley and the opinions expressed are my own.
