Well this was rather enjoyable! A bit dated now (let's face it, it was about 30 years ago and the mention of Ena Sharples and even Pamela Anderson might fly over some heads), but there were still a few moments that made you smile. I feel the funnier moments were at the beginning of the book though.
Towards the end I became a little frustrated with all the spanners in the works and felt the ending was slightly rushed but all in all, a good read.

I can't remember much about this book apart from the fact that I enjoyed it on holiday a few years ago.

Another great book by maeve. The story unflods and gets better as you go along, and a nice happy ending. Good characters and emotional storyline.

Kurzbeschreibung

An amusing and entertaining story for days when you just want to read something light! I like the characters MAeve Haran is drawing a lot - but the story of course is very predictable :)

An easy read. Good holiday/beach book. Light but story predictable.
