This was an interesting find and impulse buy for me. I have a friend who adores going to tea, so I figured if the book didn't catch my interest I would send it to her. The book got shelved and not mailed!

The book is sectioned off into themed tea parties in connection with various US Inns that hold teas for their guests. Each section details an Inn, provides a tea menu and then gives a "at home" suggestion section so you can run with holding the theme tea at home. If you are not interested in holding a tea, you will still get Inn ideas for your travels and some great theme ideas for gatherings or recipes for a tapas or desert party.

For reading pleasure, it's an interesting cook book, and the recipes are absolutely amazing! I am particularly fond of the various scone recipes.
