Ugh they made Iggy straight up unlikeable here. Dude went super creep, then we had the explanation of Tak only being good because he zoned out and just thinks he’s better than his opponent so he wins? That’s such a dumb thing. The FD got totaled which is the biggest accident a car has gotten in this series so far besides the eight six engine, they need a replacement car and it’s obvious K.T is going to ask the girl that’s crushing on him. The series at this moment is too predictable or just not good, it’s missing and making bad decisions.

Ugh… the last page of chapter 328 is so gross. I’ll keep toughing it out for the cars, but yuck Shuichi Shigeno—those little narrative asides can only be his voice.

This is one of my favorite anime’s, story could definitely use a lot of help but the racing’s really exciting and love some of the main characters 😻👍🏎

Intial D volume 26 is the 26th installation in the intial D manga series. In this Issue Takumi is still growing to become a better racer and finding out his limits as he varies between his 86 and the Impreza.

What i Liked about this book was that Takumi didnt have a struggle externally dealing with the Impreza and how it handles he also has a battle with himself internally which every driver must go through which is known as the Drivers wall. This makes the reader focus more on Takumi as a character and makes the reader more attached to him.

What i didnt like about this so far is that the relationship with Takumi's Father Bunta and himself is not so well developed as is Takumi's relationship with himself.

In concluding this review i want to recommened this manga series to any automotive enthusiant like me.

If you've made it this far in the series you know what to expect - Project D moves forward despite jerky opponents and an increasingly demanding schedule that puts professionalism before personal lives. I'm sure Shigeno speaks from experience as far as what it's like to make the long slow climb from weekend street racer to full-time pro, but the story was more engaging back in the early volumes when it was more of a high school soap opera punctuated by the occasional race.
