Where Feelings Flower: Poetry of LDS Women

Rate this book
These selected poems pulse with the beauties of gospel-related thoughts and ideals as, in contexts ranging from joys to sorrows, from happiness to hardship, they creatively call our attention to things that are "virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy."

This is a collection of poems. Most of them are short, less than a printed page. A few take more than a single page, but not many. A few of them I don't understand, but some of them I really like. And I am a fan of short.

There are old poems from Eliza R. Snow, and contemporary poems from everyday women.

I read this book because one of the poems was written by a relative of mine.

It's not necessarily the kind of book you would sit down and read end to end. But it's easy to pick up, flip to a page, and get something good out of it.
