This songbook is in Chords/Guitar tablature format, so you get a note-for-note transcription of the guitars. I think at least being able to understand note timing values can be a little helpful along with the tablature numbering to learn from this book. Bass guitar parts can be somewhat deciphered by looking at the root notes of the chords. I don't think a Hal Leonard book for the drum parts exists.

Learning this book for the SP guitarist auditions was a treat! I'm convinced that Billy Corgan's not only one of the most underrated soloists ever but is probably the best player in alternative rock.

These big fatty guitar tab books that have the album art as the cover and do every song on an album in detail are usually the best tabs available, in my experience.
