Beyond Terror, by Lynn Miclea.
An enjoyable collection of scary, ghostly, and unusual mixture of short stories.
If you are a fan of spooky goings on and strange happenings, then this is a must read for you.
I enjoyed the spine-chilling opening story called, Cat and Mouse - the tension mounting as you continued to read the story. Plus many more gripping, yet some slightly disturbing tales. Then comes the time to recognise that familiar thudding in the night is only your heart reminding you to run. Quirky and fun.
Recommended.

Chills!
My favorite horror stories deal in suspense, and Miclea has mastered it. I especially appreciate how many of the stories plop you right into the action and unravel the scene piece by piece. It keeps you in the moment, waiting for the next jaw-dropping twist.

Very enjoyable collection of horror stories. I highly recommend it. Don't read it alone!!

A nice collection of short stories.
Some of the stories are a great idea for a book.
These stories have in general a happy ending. Police turns up super fast and out of nowhere.
I understand it is not easy to write a short story, that covers everything. I would like to know more about motives and the 'story before the story'. What makes people the way they are?
