4.5 stars that I'm going to round up to 5. This was a beautiful book. In the middle I'd have to say that it got just a little too beautiful, a little sappy, but the bulk of the book was just beautiful. Set in Ireland this romance is about a boy jailed as a teenager for a crime he didn't commit who meets a Canadian girl driving the roads of Ireland sprinkling her beloved grandfather's ashes. The boy (now man) has been in jail for 15 years. His mother, father and sisters were murdered for revenge while he was in prison. He is a totally broken man.
She sees the broken man walking down the road and she instantly wants to help him. She has no idea who he is just that he looks so sad and broken she has to help him. It turns out she is a Bill Gates type woman. She has designed one of the most popular computer games in the world and at her young age she is world famous and rich. But she is unhappy, estranged from her parents and now having to deal with the death of her beloved grandfather. But, fortunately, her connections allow her to help prove the broken man's innocence.
A wonderful, romantic story.

4.5 Beautiful Stars
Gitte: I’ve got to say I really enjoyed this story; it was an epic journey considering Daniel’s past and with the focus on just two people in such a ‘close space’, well, it was pure brilliance in its simplicity. Because of this singular focus the writing was laid bare and had to be flawless. It was and it showed class and evoked incredible feelings in me. Every step felt real and I love Danielle Taylor’s writing.
“My heart hurts…Please don’t break my heart.”
The journey we take with Amelia and Daniel was intensely emotional, passionate and so very tragic. It beautiful and unique. For me, this was a journey of two lost souls, complete strangers, which find and inspire what they each need and desire. It’s a true case of finding love under the most surprising circumstance, listening to your instinct and seeing beyond a façade. Finding vindication and justice.
I loved Amelia, what a refreshing heroine she was. Intelligent, brave and honourable; she took a chance, she showed compassion and was quite inspirational as a human being. As for Daniel, he was an amazing man. Wronged in the most tragic of ways, having had fifteen years of his life stolen. His past and family lost to him in a brutal manner. The injustice in this story was profound and broke my heart. I fell in love with this extraordinary man.

Danielle Taylor wrote such an emotional story, but it had real heat and passion too. Daniel and Amelia’s connection was believable, I felt their friendship, their attraction, the protectiveness each felt for the other.
Where the Streets Have No Name was exceedingly beautiful in its simplicity and had none of that unnecessary angst or plethora of drama and miscommunications I so often find in books these days. I didn’t want to put it down as I hoped Daniel would somehow get the justice he so deserved. His story made us cry didn’t it, Jenny?!
Jenny: Gitte, who knew taking a random book read pick from our Kindles would have us uncovering a real gem and a truly memorable read. I adored this book from start to finish. It wasn’t overly angsty, was beautifully told and was exactly what I needed at the time.
‘Beautiful’ is the word that springs to mind when I think about this book. Be it the beauty in the setting, the beauty of the characters right through to the exquisite beauty and emotion of Danielle Taylor’s storytelling. And yes G, there were certainly some tears shed along with a lot of clutching of the heart
‘…….but he’d take a lifetime of kisses over just the memory of a kiss.’
Amelia was such a unique, honest, sincere and sharp character, full of compassion who never once stood in judgement of Daniel, preferring instead to trust the man presented in front of her.
Daniel. So broken, so lost so in need of someone to believe in him. This man bore scars and a guilt that were not his to bear. Ostracised and suffering tragedy that was not his to bear, this man owned my heart.
“You make me feel like I’m important…….like I matter.”
Danielle Taylor certainly brought us a thought provoking story about a chance meeting between two people unsure of themselves, each other and the direction of their lives. She showed us that by taking a chance on someone, to believe in that person is the greatest gift we can give. Just beautiful.

I received an arc for an honest review. This book is amazing. I don't know where to start. Amelia is an independent woman with a heart of gold. She randomly does a good deed by stopping and picking up a stranger. Daniel was framed for something he didn't do. Daniel also saw the bad in himself and never thought he would ever love or need to love anyone. He lived on the run and was afraid to go anywhere. Ameila took a chance and figured out who he was and started an investigation. They spent two weeks together and it was the best of her life. They were falling in love with each other and didn't even know it. You can feel the tension and sparks between them through the whole book. An incident happens and the worst happens and Amelia leaves. Once Daniel wises up he realizes his mistakes he goes after her but will she take him back?? This is an amazing book and a must read!

What a great book! I love Danielle's storytelling. Daniel and Amelia are both people who believe that no one can want them for themselves but for devastatingly different reasons. Amelia has a wonderfully creative and lucrative mind but people tend to use her. Daniel was wrongly accused of a vicious crime and lost his family because of it while he was in jail and now trusts no one and is wary of everyone believing they only mean him harm. They come together in quirky and emotional ways and as we follow them around Ireland while Amelia spreads her Poppa's ashes you can't help but fall in love with them individually and as a couple. There are some great twists in this book that will keep you on edge right until the end.

I received this arc in exchange for an honest review. I can tell you this is the first Danielle Taylor novel I've read, and I am so glad I started with this one. A variable range of emotions went through my head as I was reading. From crying happy tears to ugly UGLY tears wholeveishing Daniel to step out of the book so I could slap sense into him. Happily ever after, you have to read it to find out. As for me, I found an amazing author, who I will most definitely read more of. P.s. 5 stars wasn't enough, can I add 5 extra!

This was yet another great love story by Danielle. I love how her characters slowly begin to pull you into their story. Amelia and Daniel are two strangers who meet up by chance. In the short time they are together, not knowing anything about each other's background, they become friends and eventually fall in love. I loved this book. I'm a sucker for HEA's and Danielle knows how to write them.

Another 5* read from Danielle Taylor, set in Southern Ireland a story of two people who meet in unusual circumstances and spend two weeks together.
The characters were both on a trip of discovery, loved the way they grew throughout the book and pulled you into the story. Full of twists and turns,rollercoaster rides, lies and deceit. A must read,

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Great story and characters. The story line flowed well. Daniel, wrongly accused at age 17 of a crime he did not commit. Spent 15 years in prison. Amelia comes to Ireland to spread her beloved poppa's ashes. They meet on the side of the road and the adventures begin. A great read.

This was a great read that I finished within a few hours.
It had amazing characters that you fall in love with, a great story and moved along at a good pace.
Danielle Taylor is a talented author and I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.

DNF at 41% I'm sorry to say. Obviously in the minority here but the story just not believable for me.

Well written and edited, with just a few issues. This is a stand-alone book with no cliffhanger. 3.5 stars, rounded up.
I love stories about love in Ireland because they're usually charming, funny and romantic. This story is romantic and maybe a little charming, but doesn't have any Irish humor. For me, the timing of the romance was premature. For two people who were both hiding some big secrets, with no alcoholic lubrication, the transition from curiosity to physical exploration just seemed off. I think if the book were slightly longer, with just more of everything, some of the transitions that felt abrupt to me would be smoothed out.
That said, I did enjoy the story. After the introduction of the romance, the relationship is sweet and protective. While they don't share many facts about themselves to each other, the fact that this couple is able to successfully travel, speaks to their compatibility -- as anyone who's vacationed with a new boyfriend can attest to. There is a high degree of heat to the story and that aspect is very well done.

the simplicity of this book, the setting in Ireland but most importantly the confines of the spaces that most of the story took place in added to this incredible journey of Daniel & Amalia. There was no unnecessary angst between our couple - there was a quiet resolve. Daniel was so damaged and hurt by what he went through unnecessarily, and Amalia, she wasn't undamaged, not by a long shot. What they found together, in each other, it was life changing, earth shattering, soul mates found and the story worked for me. This story was absolute perfection, there was no guessing needed, we knew what they wanted, and we were inside their thoughts. The character development was so deep, was so perfect. I love a story that can stand on its own and this one did exactly that. There were no unnecessary side characters, Daniel & Amalia were it - them & their seperate stories desperately trying to become one.
So glad I found this book and took a chance. I'm a new fan of Danielle Taylor, if this is what her writing is like, I can't wait to read another book by her.

If you don't believe in soul mates - Read this book! This story takes us on the journey with Daniel and Amelia and they discover that you can find your soul mate when you least expect it. It was so nice to see the trust that Amelia had for Daniel when he so needed it and the loving words that Daniel spoke to Amelia when she needed them. You won't be disappointed. Thank you so much Ms. Taylor for a great read.

Ahh, that was lovely. A little sappy and a little sentimental but exactly what I was looking for. For the record the steamy scenes didn't hurt either. I loved the Irish setting and the Irish sayings. It was nice to read a contemporary romance with minimal angst for a change.

A very enjoyable read, lots of passion and angst to get you routing for both the H & h in this story. My heart broke for what Daniel had to endure.
