A surf-obsessed brother and sister from South Wales, Caio (19) and Chloe (25) embark on a journey in a camper van. The van was given to them by their father Geoff, a wellknown local surfer who has just passed away. Geoff had a reputation for telling wild and wonderful stories, and his last request was that his son and daughter take the van to Morocco, via France and Spain. Their goal is to find its seventies owner – Geoff’s best friend with whom he has lost contact. But there’s a bit more to Geoff’s request than they realise.
A really feel good, heart warming story, with a couple of hiccups along the way that make it all the more exciting! I usually read thrillers and horror, so it was so nice to have that warm happy feeling at the end of a book! Loved it!
Good easy short read that takes you on a little adventure. Some little parts left loose and somethings we’re skimmed over a little but an nice quick read perfect to slip in your bag.
So, I’m never really sure how to review Quick Reads…….I really enjoy reading them as palette cleansers and sometime they surprise me however, I never really connect with them the same as I do a full length novel. This was a sweet tale of two siblings and I should have connected more with the characters but I just didn’t, there isn’t enough time to develop characters fully in Quick Reads, this isn’t the authors fault just my opinion on Quick Reads in general. I did think the writing was a bit choppy, again this could be due to minimal time to get all the information in or it could be the writers style. Overall, I did enjoy the story, but it was, for me, a standard alright Quick Read.

Way too many detailed descriptions of boring surf terms - it was like a dull battle scene but worse as nothing of note happened. Not a great read, wouldn’t recommend.
Another enjoyable quick read book. I enjoyed reading about 'surf' terminologies. So much happening in a short read and Anderson truly captured all the fine details.
After the passing of their father, Caio and Chloe are tasked with transporting a VW camper van from the UK to Morocco and deliver it to an old friend of their fathers but can they have the journey of their lifetime or will things turn out to be a bigger challenge than they could ever have imagined?
With their love of surfing, Caio and Chloe take the chance to catch the waves as they continue along their journey and discover more about themselves and each other than they could ever imagine but will that prove to be a good thing or not?
This book is very well written and has a good flow which works well with the story being told. It is a book that is enjoyable whether you like surfing or not.
Although the story was heart warming it just wasn’t my kind of book Don’t get me wrong it was a nice story line it just didn’t hit that mark for me unfortunately
