This series is a lot of fun. A police chief who has been married for years, still loves his wife, dotes on his daughter and is puzzled by his son. He is fair to his officers and feels the pain of murdered people. This one was an interesting puzzle that I didn't solve - but I was right about one character. When you are talking several elderly people killed its a bit hard to take so the subject matter was difficult, but the story was so well done it was fun to read and it pulled you right along to the ending.
