When Stephanie's pen pal from Atlanta comes to visit, she discovers, much to her dismay, that the only thing they have in common is a mutual attraction to the boy on whom Stephanie has a crush. Original.

This book's central focus is Stephanie Tanner. Stephanie eagerly anticipates the impending arrival of her pen pal, Kyra, over the last three years. Stephanie and Kyra have been so friendly in their correspondence that Stephanie envisions Kyra's San Franciso trip as the ultimate bonding experience for the pair. Kyra's arrival starts pleasantly but quickly devolves as the girls realize they have less in common than they originally thought. It turns out that the girls are the same in one aspect of their lives, they both have a crush on Brandon Fallow. Can Stephanie mend things before her friendship and Kyra's trip turns sour?
Overall, I found this book wholesome and a delight to read. I enjoyed that the characters and their traits were similar to those of the TV show, in addition to the new characters. I also appreciated that the plot points and storyline of the book were different from the TV show. This writing style gives the stories in the series variety. I will continue the series. I have noticed a common theme in the Stephanie books, they always contain elements of Stephanie feeling left out somehow. The books are still enjoyable, but that theme is becoming played out. We shall see what transpires as the stories continue.

In this book, Karen's pen pal Kyra is visiting. They have nothing in common and she doesn't want to do the things Stephanie planned for them. But either way, Stephanie is trying to win a trip to Georgia to visit her by entering a contest on the boxes of Georgia Peach rice cakes, and ends up winning a 100 more boxes! I found that funny
