Hazakura is a beautifully written poetry book that exudes nostalgia and melancholy; Limbu expounds the falling and growth of a heartbreak. Loved this poetry.

"hazakura is a name given to a state of the cherry blossom tree (sakura) when all of its cherry blossoms fall and the young green leaves start growing."

from the title itself, hazakura is a melancholic yet hopeful poetry collection. it's about the fall and growth after the hurt. some poems are relatable to me since i've also been there and i found my new favorite pieces (pieces that i also dedicate to the one i love whom i can't bring to let go). im glad i discovered this gem. hazakura might as well be my favorite japanese word now. 🌸🌱

“Who would've known
She'd actually fly

Shackles

Of
Her size.”

J. Limbu, born in Singapore, raised in Nepal and currently residing in the United States is an enthusiast poet. He conveys "grow kind but fearlessly strong. For vice, there's karma; for virtue, there's reward” to all his readers.

The beautiful poetry of J. Limbu is essentially divided into two parts.
Fall, which certainly is the ending;
Growth, being the beginning.
When honestly, I found 'Fall' to be the beginning of the disastrous end, and 'Growth' the diligent moving on process.

A collection of very crisp but hurting poetry, as according to the author, poetry flows through one's vein when one is miserably hurt or is in love, it is then when one decides to recollect memories and fill pages after pages.

Hazakura is not mere amalgamation of poetry of hurt and love, it's educating, relevant, engrossing and most essentially, deep as the abyss. It took me less than 3 days to cover up the entire collection because I certainly couldn't cease myself. It's beyond BEAUTIFUL. 🌻

Poetry is a genre I generally skip a lot, but so grateful to be reading Hazaruka.
After Khalil Gibran and Rumi, I certainly obsess over J.Limbu and his poetry. ✍️

"The book hits different when it relates to you".
And 'Hazakura' was one of those book for me. It comforts you and validate your feelings, emotions, hurt, anger, sadness and reasons. Its not like someone needs to valid my feelings but does feel good when someone understands all those emotions and struggles I had in love and hate, life and struggle and in ending and beginning.
In all those phases, where words could not come out of you when someone asked, "what happened, why are you so sad, depressed, lost and isolating? - the book is an answer to those : because.....something like page no. 16 in the book happened; i feel like page no. 27 of the book; i can relate to the poem titled 'The Ghost O'er the hills' and page no. 162 and 163 to name a few but the poem titled 'One shot or more' and 'The Banishment' was the biggest hurt.
I never watch the movies or series twice, neither have i ever read the book twice (unless we have to for exams) but this book is the one that I will definitely go over and over again.
Overall, this book is a great find and would definitely recommend to others not only to this genre lovers as it's about love, life and struggle that we deal with daily, though more about love and heartbreak to be precise.
Thank you for such an amazing work Mr. writer.

Hazukara - A collection of poems

Hazukara is not because of the hurt, Hazukara is the hurt.
This collection of poetry hooked me straight from the beginning.
"Hazakura” is a name given to a state of the cherry blossom tree (Sakura) when all of its cherry blossoms fall and the young green leaves start growing. "
This book is split into two sections, Fall and Growth and deals with heartbreak, trauma, love , devotion and healing. This is genuinely , a modern masterpiece and it's raw , real nature becomes unbearably relatable at times. I literally just finished reading it and already feel the desire to pick it up again. I'm glad it wasn't too much or too little. Poetry is the clear expression of mixed feelings and that's exactly how I feel after reading this one.
Loved it. ❤️

Hazakura is an impressive book full of heart touching poems which so accurately describes the universal emotion of heartbreak. Everyone who has experienced a love gone wrong has felt the agony described in these short but stunning poems. The greatest strength of this book is its depiction of the grief process after the loss of romantic happiness.
The author cycles through the stages of grief out of order, as so often happens in life. I would suggest Hazakura to anyone in search of a work of quality poetry. It is different than any work available before or, I daresay, since. No reader will be disappointed.

The book Hazakura tells about the delicacy of love. Unlike many other poetry books that only give a simple iteration of love, Hazakura takes you through the depths of the initial heartbreak, denial, longing, the lessons, and acceptance. A collection of sophisticated poems, each chosen with great thought and care. Hazakura is filled with glimpses of the author’s life, poems that evoke raw lasting emotions, and words that make you think a moment longer. But most importantly, Hazakura allows you to feel all the different emotions, from the tame to the ugly and jealousy, it reassures you and follows you through the complexity and uncertainity of the lost of a love.

Hazakura is a beautifully written collection of poetry that gracefully explores themes of love, loss, and healing. With lyrical depth and emotional clarity, Limbu captures the delicate transitions of the heart, much like the fleeting cherry blossoms the title alludes to. Each poem resonates with sincerity and quiet strength, making the collection both deeply personal and universally relatable.

This is not just a book of poetry—it’s a journey through grief, longing, and the bittersweet beauty of remembrance. I highly recommend Hazakura to anyone who appreciates heartfelt poetry that lingers long after the final page. A truly moving and memorable read.

If beauty of melancholy were a book, this is it. In a word Hazakura is BEAUTIFUL. One goes through the roller coaster that is emotions throughout J's poetry. Being alive and in love is a gift but also a blissful tragedy, so wonderfully portrayed here. Everyone should experience Hazakura!
