A practical-minded look at the Bible's teachings on Heaven and Hell. I disagree with his traditionalist view on Hell, of course (although he says at the end that debates about annihilation vs. eternal torment amount to trying to know the unknowable, which suggests he sees either view as possible, though he seems to trumpet the traditional view earlier int he book). Whatever the case, the eternality of Hell's torments is not a predominant theme, so it is not as problematic as other books on this topic. Overall, it focuses more on Heaven, and the practical significance of the Bible's teachings on afterlife and how that should affect us now. It also has some useful historical information. It's nothing to write home about, but it is a good read nonetheless.
