Rate this book
TOMOT is the story of a young girl, born of a Navajo mother and living on a Navajo reservation in southern Utah. We follow Lily as she grows up to be a passionate woman in search of answers for the many questions she has about her special ability. Lily will overcome the bullying and emotional pain of being 'different'. As a Native American, born with pale skin and blonde hair, she is ostracized by her peers and relies on her mother's love and grandfather's sage advice to cope with, and rise, above the adversity.

In search of the origin of her power and her innate need to learn about the stars and fly, she'll meet a kindred spirit of a man whom she'll marry as they search the world’s ancient wonders for the key. Along the way she'll fend off evil intentions and become a hero, eventually finding that key, hiding in plain sight and not far from her birth home.

This is a story of a girl’s coming of age, fighting to reach her dreams, and traveling on a great life's journey.
