In the 1980's and 1990's, the late Terry Golledge wrote ten Holmes masterful pastiches that perfectly captured Dr. Watson voice, as well as Holmes's personality and methods. Mr. Golledge passed away in 1996 before these stories could be published.
In early 2022, Terry's son, Niel Golledge, reached out to Sherlockian editor David Marcum, who was electrified to read such wonderful previously lost tales about The Heroes of Baker Street. Now all of these valuable and sublime new additions to The Great Holmes Tapestry, once unknown except to a very few, are collected in an important new volume and available to the world.

For aficionados of the legendary investigator and his devoted companion, Terry Golledge's The Lost Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is an invaluable resource. The book contains ten stories that were written in the style and spirit of the original canon by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle but were never published until now. The stories are well-written, engaging, and faithful to the characters and the setting of the Victorian era. The author has done a remarkable job of recreating the voice of Dr. Watson and capturing the personality and methods of Holmes, who displays his usual brilliance and eccentricity. The only downside of the book, at least for me, is the first chapter entitled “A Recollection."
Great book. Terry is a fantastic writer in the style of Conan Doyle. The stories are a delightful read, and I felt like I was visiting an old friend in Sherlock with new mysteries.
The only reason I gave 4 stars is there were far to many grammatical and misspellings for a book about the world’s greatest detective. There were at least four times “Miss” was written “Kiss.”
I didn't know what to expect from this author unknown to me. But I found every story engaging, well-written, and inventive. I highly recommend this collection.
Nine stories and a novella, adventures and problems to solve by Sherlock Holmes as recorded by Doctor Watson. This wonderful set in this volume is highly entertaining, loved them.
