The Candlestick

The dream is plain to see, a candlestick made of gold. But to discover its meaning, a little girl must embark on a remarkable journey. On her quest of self-discovery, she meets two ducks, a mule, a pig, a tiger, a monkey, a possum, and a great speckled bird--all of which challenge her to awaken to oft-hidden truths. For it doesn't matter if you lose or win. You never have to be scared of the dark again." The Candlestick was inspired by the first three chapters of Revelations in the Holy Bible. The seven types of animals represent the seven churches to which Saint Paul wrote epistles, seven types of Christians, and seven dispensations of time. Written in rhyme, both parents and children will enjoy these thoughtful verses as they discover new depths of meaning in the mysteries of Revelations.
