It was very funny and exciting and I loved it. It made me feel like I want to be in the same experience even though it would be dangerous. I hope to read it again. I just love to read.😊🤩😻😙😎🙀💕
Read this in the hope of using it to inspire year 4 writing, but felt a bit underwhelmed by it. A couple of more descriptive chapters about Tut’s tomb and hieroglyphs. I found the storyline a bit quick and lacking development, also wasn’t a fan of the children & museum staff being given drugged hot chocolate!!
It’s not that I didn’t like it, but I’m not sure I did like it. It wasn’t fully what I was expecting. I did enjoy the fact side and learning all of the history facts. I had this feeling throughout that I had already read it or something similar.
I read this during the summer hols to prepare reading comprehension questions, and thoroughly enjoyed it! I liked the quick pace, humour and links to history. I think my year 4’s will enjoy this!
