This is my third time reading this book. It is indeed one of my favorites. It is highly repetitious and could have been condensed into a shorter book but still serves as an incredible guide to living an inspired life.

A good simple walk through of Demartini's basic principles. If you are an adult, I would suggest skipping this book and going straight for his Breakthrough Experience. For me personally, it's been good to rehash some of this material and refocus my life, but the book is very repetitive.

"I learned a long time ago that I would rather the whole world be
against me than my own soul."

"In
essence, at the level of the soul we are all the same; it’s in our physical existence
where we are individuals with our own hierarchy of values."

"Whether you exaggerate or minimize the image of who you authentically are,
you’ll automatically attract correcting “factors” to neutralize you and bring you
back into balance."

"At the end of your life, on the last day before you pass from your physical
body, you’re probably going to ask yourself, Did I do everything I could with
everything that I was given?"

"And if you don’t make the
effort to consciously fill your day with what feeds your mind, then you’ll find
that your day becomes filled with uninspiring, insignificant things."

I usually love Demartini's works, but this book was not for me. Although I concur with most of his texts, there was a tone of unworthiness in being authentic. I do agree that we all need to be our best selves and we naturally make a significant impact on one another's lives, however I don't agree that everyone is intended to lead or have a message to convey. This felt like a typical 'self help' book with an underlying 'I'm better than you and you don't understand life like I do". It was hard to get through.

Excellent workbook for people who want to boost their career and life by finding out in more detail what their unique contribution to the world can be. I love the practical side of it! The book is full of exercises, but of course, one needs to take time to do them.

“When we serve friends and family we call that caring. When we serve to the rest of the world, we call that selling” – Dr. John Demartini

To earn money with what inspires you, you need to define what you love doing in terms of exchangeable value. You need to define it as products and services that are of value to other people. Be creative and bold like an entrepreneur and use your imagination.

The book inspired me to write this blog on how to earn money doing what you love

3 parts. 1st part shares his thinking on service and business. 2nd part, the meat, discusses skills of emotional management and planning to be inspired. 3rd part shares his philosophies on time space leadership and contribution.

The second part is highly detailed. While part 3 is inspiring it’s wise to reread part 2.

Enjoyable book which really helps you in shaping and living a life true to your life’s purpose, desires and values - and if you don’t know what they are, this book will help you discover them!

Only downside was that if your familiar with the authors work/books before - a lot of the content inside this book was familiar and covered in other books ( and this is only my third book I’ve read from his work - so I was expecting less rehashed and repetitive stuff I’ve already from home from just 2 previous books ) - but nevertheless, the repetition is worth it - considering the importance of the books message and how it can help you in living a life you feel fulfilled with and love.

To Our Continued Success!

Excellent book!! The first half of the book is a very slow, uninteresting read and that part itself deserves 2 or 3 stars. But the second half is the true magic of Demartini which alone deserve no less than 5 stars!! Anyone, of any age, in any part of the world can use this book for his/her good. It makes you appreciate everything in your life, no matter how trivial it is. It's one of those books which makes you love and appreciate people in your life, to deal with everyday problems in a constructive manner, to find purpose in your daily-life activities, to concentrate on positivities, to bring out the leader in you. Whoever you are and whatever you do, this book is for you - it's sure to bring some positive impact in your life, little or huge.

Whatever you desire to achieve in the world, you can. In this book—one of my favourites of Demartini's—he outlines how to identify your inspired destiny, that is your big vision for the impact you want to have in the world, and how to fulfil it. The book is packed with reflection and action exercises so you can read it, apply it, and begin taking daily action towards fulfilling your inspired destiny.

"...when you live in alignment with your highest values, you don't require outside motivation to follow through on tasks." - Dr Demartini

Simply, effectively and powerfully written and articulated. :) Great introduction to understanding your values and what impact it has on leading a fulfilled life. If you're also stuck with a lot of emotional barriers, he explains simply what the root cause of them are and how to simply overcome them so you can lead a more inspired life.

Sarò sempre grata a John

A good friend and my chiropractor, Dr. Rory McKenna, shared this book with me and I enjoyed Dr. Demartini's approach to really honing in on reflection that deciphers your core values (which I am ALL about) and translating that introspection into discovering and living your true purpose in this life. His story from his childhood to where he is today is part of the book and is nothing short of amazing.

As the title suggests - inspiring. A neat and lucid summary of the key principles that underpin John's work, but also a very practical and simple "how to". If you're looking for clarity about what really motivates you, why you may be stuck in cycles of frustration or procrastination, and how to effectively move forward with greater confidence and purpose, then this book is a great place to start.

This is simply the best book I have ever read, next to the Bible. I have given copies to each of my children, their spouses & my key managers. I am re-reading it & plan to do so, at least once a year for the rest of my life. It is insightful & clarifying explanation of how to live an inspired life.
