Really good characters and story.

Enjoyed this.Had lot of twist and turns.I could not decide who could be the killer and liked how the MCs had self realisation on past actions.

Barely started and just couldn't read a book where a detective is looking for a missing friend and the cops feel they should keep the friend's dead body a secret. O please!

This book has a well-thought-out plot with plenty of twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end.

Fantastic book. Tessa is driven to find out what happened to her friend who disappeared years ago. Anthony is a dedicated Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer determined to help Tessa find the truth about her friend. Working together gives Anthony and Tessa a second chance at love. Danger abounds at every turn and the plot twists reveal a villain I never suspected. Everything came together for a happy ending. The beautiful descriptions of Vancouver Island were and added bonus. Well done, Maggie. I'm already searching for your next book.

Wow! This story is full of action and suspense! It had so many twists, turns, and surprises! Tessa Watson has spent years trying to solve the disappearance of her friend, Cassidy Chase. She finally gets a clue and is hampered by her old boyfriend, RCMP Sergeant Anthony Jones. He has orders to bring her in for questioning in Cassidy’s death. The craziness is just beginning!
This is a well written story with lots of action and suspense!

Maggie Black writes suspense with lots of action and intense suspense. This one was very enjoyable with lots of pursuers and a cold case to solve.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense Cold Case Chase. I'm a big fan of Maggie's suspense stories. She does an excellent job creating intrigue. I'm always happy to receive her books in the mail. This book is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
PI Tessa Watson stepped off the bus in the town of Princess only to see the man who is following her. That wasn't unusual she felt like she has been followed since she opened The Chase Agency almost ten years ago. She has with her the most important piece of evidence she's found yet, a bracelet. She has to solve the case of her best friend's death. She needs to get to the island and see if there is anything else that could help her find the killer.
RCMP Sergeant Anthony Jones of the Unsolved Homicide Unit has been searching for Tessa. He has never lost a suspect or a case. Tessa is a person of interest and has been traveling in disguise. He will take her in even if he once planned to marry her. He tries to get her to come in but she takes off. As he heads out after her he's attacked and soon it's clear someone is out to kill Tessa.

Quick, easy read. There was plenty of action in this book and it was fast paced.
