Way too many family members to keep track of made the story confusing

This book has everything to appeal to readers who enjoy romance that is clean and a story that is compelling. The characters are amazing, and my favorite was Colton’s grandmother who sees herself as a successful matchmaker and has decided to match firefighter Colton with ER doctor Olivia. This story has humor, heart and a mystery, too, with a missing brother and a house burned down. The whodunit part of the book was captivating, but I mostly enjoyed how Colton and Olivia got to know each other in their own way with a little meddling by family and friends. The plot teasingly reveals the details and has a lot of depth to a realistic and unique story.

This is the 5th book in the series and after a fire at the Cassidy Ranch a new family of Havens are discovered along with Sadie's son Jessepp and Darlene and of course they are all bachelor's and Grandma Sadie is back to matchmaking her first is on Colton and Livvy who don't want a relationship and Colton is keeping a deep secret concerning his missing brother Cash. Will Grandma Sadie succeed again? I am loving this series.

So excited to see this series with a whole new set of cowboys , Sadies "lost "family. The Cassidys have learned that they have more family then they knew , Colton is the first to have his story told along with Livvy , love that these two stubborn souls were fated to be with each other , also love that Sadie and Lem may just figure out the future they are fated to as well , look forward to more family drama and matchmaking .

Loved this book/series. Cannot wait for the next installment however, just so you know they can be read as standalone’s. But this is an amazing series and I don’t know why you don’t want to miss a single one!

It’s a story of second chance, romance enemies to lover and newfound love. It has mystery and intrigue, family, and relationships. It’s an amazing summer read. Clean uplifting romance.

You will love Colton Cassity, who meets his long-lost grandma who just so happens to be a matchmaker. Will she succeed in matching up Colton and Olivia Lemmon?

Does he solve the mystery of who set the fire?
Does he solved the mystery of his long lost brother Cash?

I love a well written book that has more than one story going on. Lisa Childs did an amazing job on this book!

Another in the Bachelor Cowboys series, in which firefighter Colton Cassidy is harboring a secret after finding a lighter in the basement of the burned out building that used to be his family home. Helping the people burned in the fire, including his twin brother, is the new ER doctor, Olivia/Livvy Lemmon. But Colton isn't interested in getting to know her better, nor is she interested either. Not after having escaped a two-long engagement to neurosurgeon, Steven, who makes the mistake of continually contacting her, her father and her grandfather.

Just about the time when Livvy is coming to terms with who she is and what she wants, other complications emerge, including what's going on between his grandmother and her grandfather. A romance among those with white hair? It's about time, but will they finally get together after circling each other for years?

The Firefighter’s Family Secret is number five in Lisa’s Bachelor Cowboy series and boy is it choc full of goodness. Colton Cassidy’s life is turned upside down when his family’s house burns down and then learns of his grandmother and cousins who he never knew existed. ER doctor Olivia Lemmon is determined to live the single life, after a toxic relationship she’s focused on her work and trying desperately not to fall for Colton. Of course Sadie Haven is one determined grandmother and she has her sights set on the next matchmaking pair. I loved this one, so full of family, drama, secrets and love. I’m so happy to have a new branch of the family and can’t wait to discover more about Colton’s brothers. I love a series and this one has wrapped around my heart.
